Web Development Success Story

Turning a Chauffeur Website
Into a Reliable Booking Machine

How we helped henleyexecutivecars.co.uk go from a basic dummy homepage to a working chauffeur booking platform — restoring lost booking emails through Brevo SMTP, fixing a CSS conflict that hid key booking buttons, and building a custom iCabbi API integration.

The Problem

What Was
Holding the Site Back?

A chauffeur business for Heathrow and London depends on one thing: bookings that actually arrive. Henley Executive Cars had a text-heavy site, a clunky booking form, missing legal pages — and, later, booking emails that silently stopped being delivered.

0

Booking Emails Not Sent

The Brevo SMTP configuration had been removed from the website, so booking confirmation emails were no longer reaching the business.

2

Hidden Booking Buttons

A CSS conflict hid the “More Info” and “Select Vehicle” buttons in the vehicle selection step, blocking customers from completing a booking.

2

Weak Structure & Navigation

The site was one long, text-heavy block with only “Home” and “Booking” in the menu, a cluttered fleet list and repeated contact details.

No Legal or Trust Pages

No Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions pages, no visible reviews or badges, and no official iCabbi integration available for dispatch.

Our Approach

The Strategy

01
Foundation

Site Build & UX Audit

  • Built the homepage with fleet details, office addresses and contact info
  • Installed SSL on the domain for a secure, trusted first impression
  • Audited layout, wording, navigation and trust signals
  • Recommended fleet tiers, guide pricing and a proper site menu
02
Booking Flow

Booking Form & Fleet Updates

  • Added three new vehicles to the fleet
  • Adjusted pricing rules after a call with the client
  • Diagnosed a CSS conflict hiding vehicle selection buttons
  • Restored “More Info” and “Select Vehicle” buttons across the booking form
03
Email Delivery

Brevo SMTP Reconfiguration

  • Traced missing booking emails to a removed Brevo SMTP configuration
  • Reconfigured SMTP and tested the full booking-to-inbox flow
  • Routed confirmations to two client inboxes for redundancy
  • Confirmed emails are sending successfully via SMTP
04
Compliance & Integration

Legal Pages & iCabbi API

  • Added Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions from client-supplied content
  • Reviewed every available way to connect the site with iCabbi
  • Found no official integration, so began a custom API build
  • Using custom hooks to send booking data straight to iCabbi
