What You’ll Actually Do (Real Work, Not Buzzwords)

You won’t just “audit websites.” You will:

• Fix indexation issues impacting hundreds or thousands of pages
• Improve Core Web Vitals from poor → 90+ performance scores
• Diagnose and resolve crawl inefficiencies & budget waste
• Eliminate duplicate content & canonical conflicts at scale
• Architect SEO-friendly site structures for growth
• Work directly inside WordPress themes, plugins & Core PHP logic
• Optimize rendering, crawling, and indexing pipelines

Your Core Responsibilities

Technical SEO Mastery

• Deep optimization of crawling, indexing, and rendering
• Advanced handling of robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, hreflang
• Resolution of 3xx, 4xx, 5xx errors, redirect chains & loops
• Crawl budget optimization and log file analysis

WordPress & Core PHP SEO Engineering

• Work hands-on within WordPress (themes, plugins, custom builds)
• Collaborate on Core PHP-based systems and custom CMS architectures
• Implement technical SEO fixes at code level—not just plugins

Performance & Core Web Vitals

• Improve LCP, CLS, and INP with real implementation
• Optimize speed using caching, CDN, lazy loading
• Work with developers to fix backend performance issues

Data, Tools & Automation

• Use Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb for deep audits
• Analyze GSC, GA4, Bing Webmaster data for insights
• Automate workflows using APIs, scripts, and custom solutions

Advanced & Scalable SEO

• Handle international SEO and hreflang at scale
• Optimize large websites with complex structures
• Define and execute long-term technical SEO roadmaps

Leadership & Ownership

• Mentor junior team members
• Lead projects independently
• Take full ownership of technical SEO outcomes

What Makes You a Strong Fit

Required Experience

• 3+ years in hands-on Technical SEO
• Proven experience solving real-world SEO problems (not theory)
• Strong experience in WordPress + Core PHP environments

Technical Capability

• Solid understanding of Core PHP (must-have)
• Strong grip on HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Python / SQL (plus point)
• Familiarity with Git and development workflows

• You focus on root cause, not surface-level fixes
• You can debug, test, and implement independently
• You think in systems, scalability, and performance
